Romano thinks America’s fascination with capes is a little weird. Romano used to wear capes all the time, for centuries, as part of his wardrobe: to keep warm, to keep the weather off, as a status symbol, and so on. But all practical reasons.

Whereas America wears them so he can tear around the house jumping off of furniture and pretending to be a superhero.

After a few years, Alfred wasn’t so upset about the mafia in America, mostly because they’re the reason he met Lovino, who felt a bit guilty about America having to deal with them.

Sometimes Alfred pretends to forget how to tie a tie just so Lovino can do it for him. Once Lovino does it, Alfred pulls him for a kiss.

Alfred has no qualms about trying to go after everyone who insults Lovino. While Lovino likes that (not that he would ever say) he doesn’t want to be the cause of a war so he distracts Alfred with sex.
